"Why I Decided to Become a Teacher?"
I want to be a
teacher for one very simple reason, I want to make a difference. While there
are many areas where I could achieve this, I believe education is where I have
the greatest impact. Every day, thousands of young people around the world feel
like they're not good enough or "just can't". And I know that feeling
because I also felt the same. As I continue my study to become a teacher, I came
to understand that the job can be incredibly draining, but I know in my heart
that the rewards much surpass the exhaustion. Teaching requires patience,
understanding, compassion and enthusiasm, which I am more than willing to give
every day.
"A teacher who is attempting to teach without inspiring the student with a desire to learn is hammering on a cold iron."
-Horace Mann
